How to use Spotify Group Session aka Party Mode to play Song Saga
Spotify recently introduced a new feature that you may not have heard about that makes playing Song Saga super easy.
It’s called “Spotify Group Session” or as we prefer to call it, Party Mode.
What makes it so great is you and your friends can search for, and play songs on your own phone or tablet and listen to them together in realtime.
So if you’re playing Song Saga at a friend’s house and their phone is connected to the stereo, you can still play your own songs without them having to give you their phone. Or their passcode.
Group listening is possible when you’re not in the same space too.
This means you could be playing Song Saga remotely with our free Snap Camera lens, and everyone on the video call can be listening to the same music at the same time.
It’s like Spotify made this for us!
How to use Spotify Party mode
Ready to get started?
Click or tap the little speaker icon in the bottom-left corner of the main Spotify screen and then scroll down to “Start a group session.”
From there you can share the invite link with your guests or have them scan your Spotify code to join the session.
Host and guests can pause, play, skip, and select tracks in the queue as well as add their own songs using the standard controls.
If one person makes a change, it will immediately be reflected on all participant devices.
No. matter what happens, you’re gonna end up with a killer playlist at the end of the game.
